Always preferring a unique path, I learned art from master chefs and mother nature.  A lifetime in the restaurant business showed me how flavor could be influenced by color and balance in presentation. 

After leaving that industry, I increased my knowledge of art naturally, meaning I looked to nature for inspiration.  A lover of Michigan’s lakes, I found myself entranced with the beauty and individuality of rocks!  Using rocks and other natural materials, I started constructing tables, wall hangings, and other products. 

To bring more nature to my own backyard, I used many of Michigan’s rocky gems to create a one-of-a-kind water feature, guarded by our concrete turtle, Cedric. Cedric led to a fascination with statuary! 

I bought my first mold and quickly realized that I wanted to make unique products with my own molds.  This incredibly fun, twisty path has brought me to this place, a place that aims to turn the world of concrete statuary on its head.
